While the final week of June and the month of July are called a "summer vacation" time in the NWSL, it doesn't mean the teams sit idle. Rather, they play exhibition games.

According to the leagues' website: "Teams across the league are taking advantage of the pause to recalibrate and schedule a mix of international friendlies, practice matches, and closed-door scrimmages to stay sharp.

Here's how you can follow to stay current with your favorite teams.

NWSLines.com note: We will not be posting further schedules and recaps during the off-time as we will observe this time as a true vacation and will expect you, Dear Reader, to follow your favorite teams on your own. Look at you becoming a real fan of the league!

Fans can make travel plans now to join the action in San Diego on Sunday, September 7 at Snapdragon Stadium, when the team and league honors Alex Morgan and "Waves goodbye" which is a clever pun so, of course I re-printed that here.
