Washington Spirit will host Portland Thorns on Friday, March 13, to begin the 2026 NWSL season.
The regular-season schedule can be found here and the information includes how to watch every game. (The website's so sophisticated now it will tell you what time the game begins in your local market, too.)
Also find the league Standings, aka the Table.
The league has expanded to 16 teams now with the addition of Boston Legacy and Denver Summit and information about those clubs can be found there.
The league also recently announced a new way to follow the NWSL, via what they're calling a content hub, Victory+.
The newest streaming partner will bring the NWSL Content hub to fans on this completely free, ad-supported sports streaming service. This dedicated content ecosystem will give fans access to unprecedented content both on and off the pitch.
So there's the sunrise part of this post.
Now about our sunset ...
When we began NWSLines.com two years ago, we had a mission to aggregate the news and to help new fans discover ways to follow the league. We learned along the way that there are several great ways for folks follow, learn and grow their fandom of the league, as most matches are televised or streamed and each market has some great local coverage, along with a host of terrific journalists who cover the NWSL on various social platforms.
Over that same time the NWSLsoccer.com website has been made more robust and those in the communications office with the league and at each club will serve most of our fans needs quite nicely, so we encourage you to bookmark the links we've provided and more as the site will provide you with everything you need to know.
But what we learned as content contributors ourselves was there are many more topics in the sports and games realm that we want to cover (you know Ashley's going to follow the NFL, Urvi will likely contribute some content there, too, along with NHL and maybe even some cricket and Jody will pop off about anything, really.) And, we might even try our hands at podcasts, video and game-making.

So, we've launched a new venture we're calling Triple Era Play and have moved to the Substack platform (no subscription required, well, at this time anyway. We reserve the right to grow wildly successful!) so that hopefully, if you've enjoyed our coverage here, will give us a follow there.
We'd like to thank everyone who's supported us here. We aren't leaving our love of the NWSL behind, we're just expanding to cover even more of our interests.
This NWSLines site will be retired, likely coinciding with the league's break in June 2026.
