Houston Dash vs. Orlando Pride Draw, 1-1
Shell Energy Stadium on Prime Video at 8:00 p.m.
There were some defensive gems from this one, especially from both goalkeepers. Houston's Malia Berkeley (62') scored off a set-piece pass from Patterson, assist, to finally break through. But the lead only lasted a little more than 22 minutes as Orlando's Simone Charley (85') knocked in a header, assist to McCutcheon, to equalize and the teams split a point at the table.
Saturday, October 4, 2025
NC Courage vs. Racing Louisville FC Racing Louisville, 3-1
First Horizon Stadium on ION at 7:30 p.m.
Louisville's Emma Sears scored twice (49' from Fischer) and (79' from a beautifully headed pass and assist by Balcer off a set piece) along with a Kayla Fischer (59' assist O'Kane) goal to lead the visitors and pick up the available 3 points for the win. North Carolina's Manaka Matsukuba had equalized (55' assist from Jackson) but that was short lived.
Portland Thorns FC vs. Bay FC Portland, 2-1
Providence Park on ION at 10:00 p.m.
Taylor Huff (36' assist from Lema) put Bay on the board first, but Olivia Moultrie got hot and added a pair of second-half goals (51' from Coffey and 69' unassisted) to give Portland the match and 3 points.
Sunday, October 5, 2025
Washington Spirit vs. San Diego Wave FC Spirit, 2-1
Audi Field on ESPN at 1:00 p.m.
It was a weekend of players scoring double, but for Washington's Rosemonde Kouassi, it was also scoring a pair that bookended a miraculous game and likely provided the goal of the weekend (they vote over on the social media where this old gal does not go!). She opened the scoring at (9' off a cross/assist by Abiodun) and it looked like that 1-0 lead would hold until five minutes into additional time (90+5') when San Diego's Delphine Cascarino equalized from a pass/assist by Caruso. That set the stage for one of the better goals anyone has scored this season three minutes later (90+8 assist to Cantore), as Kouassi blasted a long-range, curling shot into the back of the net, to give Washington the win and 3 points. Do yourself a favor and watch.
Chicago Stars FC vs. Utah Royals FC Draw, 2-2
SeatGeek Stadium on NWSL+ / P+ at 4:00 p.m.
Utah put two goals up early in the second half when Mina Tanaka (59' unassisted) scored and converted a PK (66') a few minutes later , but Chicago answered with a pair of their own within 3 minutes to send the hometown crowd home happy to split a point. Ivonne Chacón put the Stars on the board in the 84th minute, with an unassisted goal following a missed shot from a cross that Chacón put in from close range. That set up the equalizer by Micayla Johnson (86') off a pass from Grosso.
Gotham FC vs. Seattle Reign FC Draw, 0-0
Sports Illustrated Stadium on NWSL +/ P+ at 4:00 p.m.
Despite controlling the ball at a 64-36 percent clip and outshooting Seattle, 10-1 with 4 of them on target, Gotham could not find the back of the net in this one, so the team's settled for the draw.
Monday, October 6, 2025
Angel City FC vs. Kansas City Current Current, 1-0
BMO Stadium on CBSSN at 10:30 p.m.
Kansas City got a goal from MIchelle Cooper (59') off a lovely cross and assist by Hopkins and that was all the Current would need to leave L.A. with 3 points.
